Comfort Inn Lees Summit @ Hwy 50 & Hwy 291

Every staff member we talked to was very nice and helpful. Breakfast waz good, stocked and clean. Room was clean and hallways were quiet through the night.

By accident I found this hotel when I was in need of a hotel room for a surprise situation. I have been staying here for 11 days. I have to say that they have been great. I have not been unhappy with anything. It was a little inconvenient that the guest laundry dryer is broken. But, there is a nice Laundromat just down the road. They have a nice breakfast every morning. I find the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The entire staff has been wonderful and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here if you need a room. Much nicer than other hotels in close proximity. Jay, the General Manager has been great. Thank you Jay for the great service and a nice place to stay.

Excellent stay! I had a great experience staying at Comfort Inn. The place was very clean and well-kept, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job throughout my stay. The entire team was friendly and professional — the manager, Jay, was extremely helpful and kind, always making sure guests were comfortable. Jaime at the front desk was also amazing — always ready to help with a warm smile and positive attitude. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Stayed for a week in room 104, Feb 23 through March 2, 2025. The staff was very nicer including room service and the room was very nice. The king size bed was firm which was great for a bad back like mine. Thank you for such a great stay experience. Teddy and Diana Davis

This hotel was fine. It was clean enough, our room was pretty basic but had some defects. The closet rack was severely broken so we didn’t use it. The bedding seemed cleaned but the beds were hard. The room air conditioner worked great, but no matter how we positioned the curtains we couldn’t keep the sunlight out. The bathroom was fine plenty of hot water but it squealed. Over all the facilities were okay nothing special but nothing bad. The breakfast was pretty typical of a hotel breakfast I will say that they kept it stocked and hot better than other hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff varied greatly the handy man I would give 10 stars to. He was super friendly and very helpful. The gal behind the desk was about the opposite. Did what she needed but was cold, kind of rude and acted like she was annoyed we were there. The location is great several local places and more popping up it seems.

Lee’s Summit is a charming and vibrant community that blends small town warmth with modern amenities. The downtown area is lively, featuring local shops, restaurants, and events. Clean neighborhoods, friendly residents, and plenty of parks make it a great place to visit or call home.

This was a good stay for the price. The room was clean and the breakfast good. The staff were kind and helpful. I couldn’t give it 5 stars though because of the strong mildew smell coming from the AC; however, I would stay here again, but would suggest checking your room for a mildew smell before bringing all your stuff in - especially if you have allergy or breathing issues. I am sure if I had asked, the staff would have moved our rooms, but it was only one night, so I just let the staff know their AC unit probably needs some attention as we headed out.

Rooms were clean, shower temp and pressure was great, breakfast was hot. For $70/ night that’s all I’m expecting. Powered eggs, sausage, waffle iron, yogurt, toasts, cereal, apples. The room did have a bad odor when entering but eventually we got used to it. Bed was comfortable and the neighbors kept to quiet hours. Not the best but certainly not the worst hotel I’ve stayed at.
